Former Hatters forward Antonio German has signed for League One outfit Brentford on a ‘Development Squad’ deal.
The former QPR man left County at the beginning of the month after the expiry of his short-term deal, and has since been playing on non-contract terms at South London based side Bromley.
The 20-year-old said the chance to have another shot at playing in the Football League was too good to turn down, and added Jim Gannon wanted to keep him at Edgeley Park.
“Stockport wanted me to stay but I wanted to try my luck in the Football League,” he said on the Brentford official website.
“I came down to Brentford for a trial for a week, I played a game yesterday, they obviously liked what they saw and here I am.
“The league is where I want to be.”
